Da ich seit vielen Jahren begeisterter ThinkPad User bin und die Vorzüge der soliden Notebooks bei meiner Tätigkeit im Versicherungsaußendienst genieße, war das T61 logischer Nachfolger meines ThinkPad T41p.

UPDATE 01.03.2010
Ich war vom Geschwindigkeitssprung durch den Umstieg auf SSD so begeistert, dass ich mich für eine Intel X-25M Postville G2 160GB SSD für den Laptop entschieden habe. Dank User \"middleton\" vom Notebookreview.com Forum läuft die SSD nun auch auf S-ATA II, außerdem ist der \"Thermal Sensing Error\" aufgrund meiner Penryn CPU nun auch Geschichte!

UPDATE 20.11.2009
Nach 8 Jahren Windows XP Pro (ohne ein einziges Mal neu aufsetzen!) wurde es Zeit für den wirklich würdigen Nachfolger - Windows 7 Home Premium. Ich bin mit dem neuen Microsoft OS wirklich hochzufrieden, alles läuft perfekt!

UPDATE 16.09.2009
Nachdem ich enorm günstig an eine 500GB Samsung HDD gekommen bin, habe ich diese kurzerhand gegen die bisherige 250GB Samsung Platte getauscht. Man kann ja nie wissen... ;)

UPDATE 02.06.2009
Um das Arbeiten für die Augen deutlich zu entlasten, habe ich meiner Dockingstation einen 21,5 Zoll Full-HD Monitor von BenQ genehmigt. Nicht nur das Arbeiten wurde damit erleichtert, sondern auch die Multimediaeigenschaften haben sich deutlich verbessert! :D

Aufgrund der enorm günstigen DDR2-Speicherpreise habe ich die 2x1024MB Arbeitsspeicher rausgeschmissen und gegen 2x2048MB Kingston DDR2-800 Speicher getauscht. Eine Investition von EUR 35,--, die bestimmt kein Fehler war...
